Originally from New Zealand, this fruit has an elongated, ovoid tapered stem, the stalk being medium to long, and its surface is bright red, slightly striated in yellow background.
The pulp is thin, sweet, aromatic, slightly acidic with high quality and fragrant; fruits ready to harvest should have a hardness pulp 7.0 to 8.0 Kg / cm2 0.5, and the refractive index must report to more than 12% (Brix).
The average size is: 65 to 75 mm corresponding to the weighing 150 and 170 grams.
The harvest season of this variety lies in the last half of August, and preservation in good condition is about 5 months in conventional atmosphere (normal) and 7 months in controlled atmosphere.
